About George Eib

George Eib Memorial ScholarshipGeorge Eib passed away in December 2018 – he was a member of KCCU since 1964, and also served on the Board for more than 45 years – he was committed, engaged and passionate about his role and took it seriously. George didn’t mind questioning, challenging, and voicing his opinion about matters that impacted the financial growth and security of the credit union. He was kind and gentle, and we looked forward to seeing his smiling face at every meeting.

We could always count on George for his sharp mind, pleasant disposition, and a good laugh. The Board was forever changed by the positive example that George set for engagement and commitment. This scholarship was established in honor of George, for his steadfast and faithful contribution to the Board, but most importantly, for what he did for Kansas City Credit Union and for us, the members.
