Earlier this year, Kansas City Credit Union announced the $1,000 George Eib Memorial Scholarship. After reviewing all applications, we have chosen a winner.
Congratulations to Ms. Alexis Kemp!
Requirements for the scholarship were:
- Must be a member of Kansas City Credit Union with an account in your name.
- Must be planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical college as a full-time student in the summer or fall of 2023.
- Must provide verification of acceptance to the school before scholarship funds are disbursed.
More about our winner, Alexis Kemp
Alexis recently graduated from University Academy with an impressive 3.5 GPA. She was a standout athlete for the University Volleyball program, lettering all four years in the sport. Also, during her time at University Academy, she volunteered over 117 hours within the community at Harvester’s, Giving Help and Hope, and KC Pet Project.
This Fall, Alexis will be attending Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis where she plans to study Biology and Pre Med. She will also be playing volleyball for the University.
