On behalf of the KCCU Board of Directors, we would like to present to some, and introduce to others, Mr. Brandon Richardson, as Kansas City Credit Union’s interim President.

This temporary appointment comes at the resignation of our current President, Mr. Nick Richmond.

Nick has exceeded our expectations in many areas and has grown the credit union substantially in his short tenure. Although we are saddened to see him go, we understand that there are opportunities in life that are hard to pass up. We wish nothing but the best for Nick and wish him well in all of his new endeavors!

Brandon Richardson – KCCU Interim President

Some of you may already be familiar with Brandon from our annual credit union meetings.

Brandon resides in Kansas City with his wife, Danielle, and their growing family of six children. He has been with Kansas City Credit Union for almost two years, serving as the Vice President of Branch Operations and Compliance. Brandon came to KCCU with extensive experience from various positions within the financial industry over the past 12 years, 10 of those years being in the credit union industry.

Brandon has experience in every position of branch operations from teller to Vice-President, thus he understands the importance of growth through customer service and relationship building vs. a transactional approach.

Before the opportunity of interim was an option, Brandon had proven himself to be self-driven and ambitious – he took the initiative to enhance his knowledge through financial executive leadership programs with professional goals to one day operate in the President’s role.

Brandon’s temporary interim appointment became effective June 1, 2023.
