Earlier this year, Kansas City Credit Union announced the 2nd Annual $1,000 George Eib Memorial Scholarship. After reviewing all applications, we have chosen a winner!

Scholarship Winner: Ms. Kennedi Hampton
Requirements for the scholarship were:
- Must be a member of Kansas City Credit Union with an account in your name.
- Must be planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical college as a full-time student in the summer or fall of 2024.
- Must provide verification of acceptance to the school before scholarship funds are disbursed.
More about our winner, Kennedi Hampton
Kennedi has known for awhile she didn’t want to work the typical 9-5 job and even started multiple businesses of her own throughout middle school and high school. Creating is something that she has always loved to do. She will be attending the University of Central Missouri this fall to major in Fashion Design. Her future career plan is to enter the merchandising and fashion industry and one day own a clothing boutique.
Kennedi says fashion is more than clothes or fabric. Fashion is personality, creativity, and uniqueness. Fashion also influences the community. She wants to be the person who can spread awareness and unite the community using her creativity. Receiving the George Eib Memorial Scholarship will help her to relieve some financial stress and to pursue her goals and study at UCM.
